When you’ve eaten your meal there are still plenty of magical experiences to be had. There is something to choose from for every age as you would expect of a capital city whether it be more modern day entertainment in bars or clubs or something traditional with Chinese culture in mind.

For those looking for a taste of traditional Chinese entertainment Beijing Opera, acrobats and dramatic performances are an easy choice. Or a stroll to walk off the Roast Duck along Chang’an Street to Tiananmen Square could be enough to give you the sights and smells of authentic Beijing life.

A popular place for locals and certainly worth visiting is the Tianqiao (Over bridge) Area, popular since the Yuan Dynasty. The scene of folk culture and art is the birthplace
of many original performances of music and acrobatics for which the Chinese are world famous. The two most famous venues are Tianqiao Theatre and the Tianqiao Tea House.

Chinese acrobaticsFor those who like something modern the theatre performs modern song and dance while for those who want tradition, Beijing Opera, Acrobatics and Martial Arts can be enjoyed. Visitors are sure to enjoy the performances as knowledge of the Chinese language is not necessary due to the prominent use of mime and the fact that there are often subtitle boards.

If you long to experience the Chinese Tea culture head for Laoshe Tea House located at 3f, Building 3, Xi Da Jie, Quianmen and while away the time in a relaxing atmosphere. Or if you want something more dramatic you can head for Wansheng Theatre to be found at 95, Tianqiao Market, Xuanwu District and watch Acrobatic Shows which start at 7.15 pm every evening.

Three places which should be on your list if you are looking for these types of entertainment are: Huguang Huiguan Ancient Opera Building located at 3, Hufang Lu, Xuanwu District, Beijing Concert Hall at 1, Xinhua Bei Jie, Xicheng District and Beijing People's Art Theater to be found at 22, Wangfujing Da Jie.Evening entertainment & Nightlife bejjing China
